Update June 15, 2012 - I know you’re being subjected to intense propaganda, a barrage of inaccurate information and other nonsense from your company regarding your contract.
At times like these, it’s important you keep things in perspective.
First and foremost, you continue to work under a contract with the best wages and benefits in the UFCW.
Secondly, you’ve armed your Union with the authority to call a strike, if it becomes necessary. This puts the company on notice it cannot force its cutbacks and takeaways on you without suffering the consequences.
So…. please remain patient and stay composed. Cool heads will prevail.
When Raley’s management team calms down and takes a deep breath, we believe they will recognize our most recent proposal (click on link to read proposal)is the quickest, most efficient and most reasonable path to a fair settlement.
