UFCW 8-Golden State has reached a tentative agreement with Save Mart for members working at Yosemite Wholesale and Save Mart's main office.

The settlement comes after particularly challenging and complex negotiations. “We were able to reach an agreement that protects the livelihood, healthcare and retirement security of our members,” said President Jacques Loveall.

The new agreement includes significant wage increases, health care and pension protections and a bonus. 

Details of the tentative agreement will be presented to members working at Yosemite Wholesale and Save Mart Office for ratification in the coming days.

Contract negotiations for members working at Save Mart, Lucky and Food Maxx supermarket locations remain ongoing.
