UFCW 8-Golden State, along with UFCW Locals 5 and 648, resumed negotiations with Save Mart September 24 and 25. Preliminary meetings also took place with Safeway/Vons on Friday, Sept. 26 and bargaining begins Monday, Sept. 29, with Raley’s, Bel Air and Nob Hill.

Continued progress was made with Save Mart and we are determined to reach an agreement that addresses the needs of the members.

Please continue doing your part by letting your co-workers and managers know you stand with your Union. Being vocal in support of your Union sends a strong message that we are united in our common goal to get the best possible contract for our members.
