Raley’s, Bel Air and Nob Hill Foods Negotiations Update – October 14, 2019

Negotiations with Raley’s continued last week. We exchanged proposals and discussed the details in the agreements reached and ratified with other major supermarket employers in Northern California. Sufficient funding of medical and pension benefits and ensuring Union employers are competing equally are key component in these negotiations.

“Our hard-working members deserve to be recognized and compensated for their effort and dedication,” President Jacques Loveall said. “Several other major Union employers in Central and Northern California have already done so, and it’s time for Raley’s to make similar commitments.”

Additional meeting dates are scheduled this month.

“The solidarity of members is critical as we focus our efforts on reaching an agreement which recognizes our members contributions to the companies’ successes,” said President Loveall.

By working together, we will prove once again… Solidarity Works!
